About PNG to PDF
SwiftPDFEdit's PNG to PDF converter turns one or more PNG images into a single PDF document, one image per page, without re-encoding the pixels. Transparent regions are composited onto the white page rather than turning black, so screenshots, logos and diagrams look exactly as they did in your image viewer.
PNG is the native format of anything captured or exported from a screen — UI screenshots, chart exports, wireframes, diagrams, product mockups, QR codes. Those artefacts travel far better as a PDF: one file instead of twelve, a fixed page order, reliable printing, and a format that reviewers can annotate rather than accidentally edit.
Transparency is where naive converters fail. A PNG with an alpha channel dropped into a PDF without compositing often renders as a black rectangle, which is why exported logos so often arrive ruined. SwiftPDFEdit flattens the alpha channel against the page background before embedding, which is the behaviour you want for both print and sharing.
You control page geometry. “Fit to A4” centres each image on a standard page with margins, which suits documentation packs and anything that will be printed. “Match image size” makes each page exactly the pixel dimensions of its image, which keeps a screen capture pixel-perfect with no surrounding white space — the better option for design review and for wide screenshots that would otherwise be shrunk to fit a portrait page.
Conversion runs entirely in your browser and is lossless, so a screenshot of small type stays sharp rather than picking up JPEG artefacts. Very high-resolution captures make correspondingly large PDFs; if the result needs to be lighter, Compress PDF handles that in a second pass.
Step by step
How to convert PNG to PDF
Open the PNG to PDF converter

Add your PNG images
Drag PNG files onto the upload area or click to browse. JPG files can be mixed into the same batch.
Arrange the page order
Move the images up and down until the list matches the order you want in the finished document.
Choose the page sizing
Pick Fit to A4 for a document feel with margins, or Match image size for pixel-perfect captures with no white space.
Convert and download
Click Convert to PDF and save the result. Alpha channels are flattened onto white as the images are embedded.
Questions
PNG to PDF — frequently asked questions
Transparent areas are composited against the white page background as the image is embedded, which is what you want for printing and sharing. You will not get the black boxes that naive converters produce from alpha channels.
Yes. The converter accepts both formats in the same batch and each image keeps its native encoding and quality.
No fixed limit. Very large captures are embedded as they are, so a batch of 4K screenshots makes a heavy PDF; run it through Compress PDF afterwards if size matters.
“Match image size”. It makes each page exactly the dimensions of the capture, so a wide screenshot is not shrunk to fit a portrait sheet and small UI text stays legible.
No. The PNG data is embedded rather than re-encoded, so the result is lossless — no JPEG artefacts around text or sharp edges, which is exactly why PNG is the right source format for screen content.
No. Your file never leaves your device — all processing happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, even for a large batch of high-resolution captures.
Yes. Mobile browsers can pick images from your photo library or files app, and the conversion runs on the phone itself.
