Terms of Service

Effective 9 sections

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SwiftPDFEdit, the browser-based PDF platform available at swiftpdfedit.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

SwiftPDFEdit provides software tools that process PDF and image files locally within your web browser. Because processing is client-side, you retain sole possession and control of your documents at all times; we never receive them. The free tier is provided without charge with a free account. Paid tiers add additional features as described on our Pricing page.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to infringe intellectual-property rights or to process documents you have no legal right to modify;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties as your own hosted service without a written agreement;
  • remove, obscure, or circumvent any technical or licensing restrictions of paid features.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you process. Because your files never reach our systems, we claim no license over their contents whatsoever. You are solely responsible for the documents you process and for the results you produce, including the legal effect of any signatures you apply.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew monthly or annually until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer partial-period refunds except where required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, applying from your next renewal.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to make the tools accurate and reliable, we do not warrant that outputs will be error-free or fit for any particular purpose. Always review important documents after processing. Signature tools produce simple electronic signatures; you are responsible for determining whether they satisfy the legal requirements of your use case.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftPDFEdit and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms. Sections 4, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.

9. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and SwiftPDFEdit regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site and take effect no sooner than 14 days after posting. Questions: [email protected].
