Processed on your device
Free or paid, the PDF engine runs in your browser tab. Your file is not uploaded in order to be merged, split, converted or edited.
No watermarks, ever
The free plan is a real plan. Nothing we hand back to you is stamped, sampled or degraded to nudge you toward paying.

The toolkit isn't the paywall. Paid plans lift caps and add heavier features — they don't ration merge and split.

Pro ($10/mo or $49/yr) removes the daily and document caps and unlocks the full editor: editing the original text in place, find & replace across the document, true redaction, tables, watermarks and all fonts. Premium ($15/mo or $79/yr) adds unlocking password-protected PDFs. Features marked "Soon" on this page — OCR, the AI assistant, Office conversions and batch processing, e-signature requests, team folders and API access — are on the roadmap and are not part of either plan yet; we only charge for what already works.

No. A free account is all you need for the free plan — you only enter payment details if you choose Pro or Premium. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
Yes. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. You can upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual billing whenever you like.
No. Every plan — including Free — runs the PDF engine in your own browser. Upgrading lifts limits and unlocks features; it never moves your documents to a server. The only thing that reaches your account is a finished document you explicitly choose to save.
